ABOUT
I was born in a small town in Western, North Carolina and spent my younger years in a leotard. Having no say in what I wore for competitions, I was determined to express my sense of style any chance I could. Being confined to a gym for 12 years, 30 hours a week, I was burnt out dreaming of an ordinary life. In my search for freedom I found my love for travel. Traveling to over 25 countries exposed me to an array of self expression through fashion. From the vibrant free-flowing garments seen in the streets of Accra to the “Harajuku Girl” in Tokyo, the history and culture conveyed through each look was and is inspiring. I’m fascinated by the marriage of new and old. Technology has brought design to unimaginable levels, but there is still something peculiar about vintage pieces. Finding the balance between the two is where I live. My style has been influenced by a compilation of these factors. Drawing inspiration from my hometown (I’ve always had a love for camo), my travels, and my upbringing.
